"Shared Cities" is an exhibition of the works that have been recognized as winners, honorable mentions and finalists in the eighth edition of the European Prize for Urban Public Space 2014, is hosting at Royal Academy of Arts (London, Great Britain) to 21 of July to 9 of August of 2015.

The Architecture Foundation, in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Arts, will exhibit the European Prize for Urban Public Space in 2014 in the British capital, with parallel activities.

This July, the “Shared Cities” exhibition will be shown in London. The Senate Rooms of the Royal Academy of Arts will be the venue for the exhibition of outstanding works from the most recent European Prize for Urban Public Space (2014). The exhibition is presently in Miami, Florida, where it was opened on 18 June, and it has also been on show in several European cities, including Barcelona, BordeauxSczecinHelsinki. The next stop is that organized by theArchitecture Foundation, London.

Several additional activities linking the exhibition with the local context will be carried out concurrently. Notable among them is “Take Me to the River: A Journey from Rainham to the Thames”, which is the Opening Lecture, about Rainham Marsh, a project for which the architect Peter Beard received a Special Mention in the 2014 Prize. Furthermore, a “Catch and Steer Night” is to be held, this taking the form of a discussion between British and Dutch architects.
