Gangs of the 80s. Cinema, press and street

After its presentation at the CCCB in 2009, then at La Casa Encendida in Madrid and the Centro Histórico de Zaragoza in the course of 2010, the exhibition can be seen at the new Alhóndiga centre in Bilbao from 27 October 2011 to 8 January 2012.
The exhibition Gangs of the 80s. Cinema, Press and Street takes a look at the phenomenon of juvenile delinquent cinema that had its moment of glory in Spain between 1978 and 1985, centring on its mutually-feeding relation with the sensationalist press of the time. This exhibition is also a faithful reflection of the urban planning, social, political and economic changes that characterized the country during this period.
