European Prize for Urban Public Space 2010

Deutsches Architekturmuseum (Frankfurt, Germany)

Deutsches Architerturmuseum of Frankfurt presents the exhibition on the European Prize for Urban Public Space 2010. Opening on 16 April, the show highlights the prize-winning projects, offers the possibility for consulting the original material presented in all the entries for the 2010 award, and presents the prize-winning projects of previous awards (2000 – 2008). It also includes a selection of Frankfurt’s most interesting public spaces. The exhibition in the DAM will be open until 3 July.

The European Prize for Urban Public Space (www.publicspace.org/en) is a biennial competition, organised by the Centre of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (CCCB) in collaboration with the Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine (Paris), The Architecture Foundation (London), the Nederlands Architectuurinstituut (Rotterdam), the Architekturzentrum Wien (Vienna), the Museum of Finnish Architecture (Helsinki) and theDeutsches Architerturmuseum (Frankfurt).
