Donostia – San Sebastián / Museo San Telmo
The CCCB, Wellcome Collection and Fundación Telefónica's coproduction of Brain(s), arrives at San Telmo Museoa (Donostia – San Sebastià).
After Madrid and Barcelona, the exhibition created by the Wellcome Collection (London), Brains: The Mind as Matter and States of Mind: Tracing the Edges of Consciousness, begins its itinerancy. The first touring venue is San Telmo Museoa, in Donostia – San Sebastian.
San Telmo Museoa, is a cultural space where temporal exhibitions are presented besides being the society and Basque citizenship museum. It is a space dedicated to spreading knowledge and thought creation. It aims to invite reflection on the cultural and historical past in order to understand today’s society from a multidisciplinary point of view.
Garuna(k) can be visited from the 16th of December to the 14th of April 2024. The exhibition gathers artistic works of art from contemporary artist, as well as scientific projects. An exhibit that explores how this fascinating organ has been represented though history, by art, science and philosophy.
