Poetry Slam 2014

In 2014, the Poetry Slam Barcelona's championship continues in the CCCB. Half poem, half performance, the Poetry Slam is a poetic contest with a lively, dynamic, participatory format that creates a new relation between the public and the poets. Poetry Slam Barcelona is a platform for contemporary artistic creation centring on the word. The project is organised and produced by Hipnotik Faktory and Red927, and it has the support of the CCCB and ICUB – Barcelona City Council.

The regular slam championship in Barcelona has been held since February 2010, and the CCCB hosts the monthly competitions since December 2012.
