Rodoreda, Verdaguer, Brossa. An Expanded Theatre Trilogy by Cabosanroque
Three immersive installations in which the spectator comes face to face with artifice. The artistic collective Cabosanroque presents its trilogy on three key literary figures: Mercè Rodoreda, Jacint Verdaguer and Joan Brossa.
The CCCB presents for the first time the complete trilogy in a sequence that begins with Joan Brossa Didn’t Make Me (2016), a fantastic opera of objects about the landscape, continues with Demons (2020), about possession, with Verdaguer’s writings as its starting point, and closes with Flowers and Journeys (2023), a chilling piece about war and women based on Rodoreda’s work.
