Grec. Festival de Barcelona

Grec 2022

At a time of profound shock in the European continent, shaken by the pandemic and the war, the Festival Grec aims to help restore public trust in the theatres and feed the imagination of an exciting future.

The CCCB hosts the shows Grandissima Illusione, a proposal by Cris Blanco that pays tribute to theatre by deconstructing its conventions, and Movion (Radio Sarajevo), a documentary show of La Conquesta del Pol Sud that recalls personal experiences and the collective history of the war in Sarajevo.

In addition, it presents the project awarded the Ciutat de Barcelona grant, A la chita callando, a hybrid project by Alicia Reyero that questions the silences that cross our society from a gender perspective, and the workshop with José y sus hermanas, in which the five creators of the company invite participants to prepare in groups a fragment of a scenic proposal.
