Drap-Art is a showcase of tendencies in art that uses objets trouvés and reject materials as a resource. It is a platform for the emerging sector of artists, designers and craftspersons from all over the world that use rubbish as raw materials; it is a forum for debate on urban theories and utopias. Drap-Art is a meeting place for specialists with an audience searching for alternative ways forward in a world heading for self-destruction. Our use and discard habits, acquired during the 20th century, have to be redirected towards the awareness that nothing ever disappears, everything is transformed.
