Xavier Basagaña

Xavier Basagaña has a degree and diploma in statistics from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and is Doctor of Biostatistics from the University of Harvard. He worked as an adjunct research professor at the Centre de Recerca en Epidemiologia Ambiental (CREAL-Environmental Epidemiology Research Center) and is currently an Associate Research Professor at ISGlobal. He coordinates the European citizen science project CitieS-Health, which deals with the environment and urban health, and heads the ATENC!Ó project, which investigates whether air pollution can affect the attention of secondary school pupils. He is also involved in other research projects on air pollution, exposure to heat, the exposome and respiratory health.
