She is professor of Anthropology and International Relaciones to The Graduate Faculty & The New School Divisions of the New School University (New York). Also she is Secretary General of the Interdisciplinary Network where Globalization and codirector of PUKAR (Partners for Urban Knowledge, Action and Research, Mumbai). Between his interests it emphasizes the globalización and the production of spaces, memory and subjectivity, as well as the infrastructure and the technologies of the city. She has given courses on policy, religion and sort in South-Asia and on the impact from the globalización to the Asian cities.
