Ventura López Kalász

Video technician and designer for the live arts, and guerilla and voiceover actor. He studied at the Faculty of Computer Science of the UPC (Barcelona), specializing in microcontrollers, interactive experiences and video games. He trained in expressive technologies and video mapping with Jan Mech and Paco Gramaje, and is now experimenting with Noicemaker, working with various creative programming tools. He is also researching building automation and construction methods based on the sphere and zonohedrons. He has designed technical solutions for shows such as Pool (No Water) (various authors) and It’s All About the Hairstyle (cmd+c company), as well as audio-reactive videos for La creació at the Concert dels Refugiats (La Fura dels Baus). He created the video for Gentry (Mos Maiorum) and the visuals for the piece Very Very Slightly (Companyia Eulàlia Bergadà). As a video technician he has toured with works such as Suite TOC #6, FAM and Harakiri (Les Impuxibles); Esmorza amb mi (Prisamata) and Les coses excepcionals and Así bailan las putas (Sixto Paz). He headed the technical coordination of Heroïnes o res, which premiered in the Sala Tallers of the TNC, and in 2021 he had the privilege of joining the team of Agrupación Señor Serrano.
