Tomàs Fuentes

Scriptwriter

Badalona, 1983. He holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Universitat Ramon Llull, and a postgraduate qualification in Fictional Screenwriting and Entertainment from the Universidad Pontifícia de Salamanca. He began his career as a scriptwriter in the year 2005 at production company El Terrat, where he wrote more than 1000 monologues for the TV programme “Buenafuente”, two galas for the Goya Prizes and various theatre shows. He has also written for programmes such as “Órbita Laika”, “El Foraster”, and “Loco Mundo”.

He is currently scriptwriter for the radio programme “La Competència” (Rac 1), and for “Està Passant” (TV3), and writes for the satirical website “El Mundo Today”, as well as collaborating on “Hoy por Hoy” (Cadena Ser) and “Via Lliure” (Rac 1). On the Internet, he is co-creator of the comedy podcast Vivir Qué Movida (Podium Podcast). He was member of the fictitious group Da Flowers, which with its song Huesca: La Capital Mundial managed to attract over a million visits on YouTube. He is one of the founding members of the 12 Monos scriptwriters’ agency.
