Tatiana Kasatkina

Philosopher and writer

She is one of the most important international experts on Dostoevsky's works. Her studies have been published around the world and she is a member of the International Dostoevsky Society. She holds a PhD in Philology, is a religious scholar and philosopher. Her research interests focus on literary theory, philosophy and religious studies in Dostoevsky's work and Russian literature of the 19th-21st centuries. Tatiana Kasatkina is a senior researcher at the Gorky Institute of World Literature, an institution attached to the Russian Academy of Science, where she is head of the Dostoevsky Center. She has published more than 300 research articles, is the author of numerous books on the author, such as the 8-volume monograph Dostoievski (V. N Zakhanov, 2004) and editor-in-chief of publications such as Dostoevsky and World Culture or Dostoevsky and the Present.
