Susanna Tesconi

A lecturer in Computer, Multimedia and Telecommunications Studies at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), she has a PhD in Education from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and is a member of the DARTS group, which is carrying out research on the intersections between art, technology, and society. She is also an expert on the interactions between learning processes and technology. In this field, her main work is helping people to develop their own devices, tools, and settings. Since 2010 she has been designing and implementing laboratories and educational programmes related with interaction design and digital production for several institutions, including Tabakalera – International Centre for Contemporary Culture (Donostia) and the Design Museum of Barcelona. Since 2014 she has also been a member of the Fablearn Fellowship group, a project of the Transformative Learning Technologies Lab at Stanford University and Columbia University, in which she is working on designing settings for educators.
