Serge Toubiana

Is the director of the Cinémathèque Française. He was editor in chief of the Cahiers du Cinéma for many years and has written books about the cinema and produced documentaries on François Truffaut, Isabelle Huppert, Charles Chaplin, and Amos Gitai. He directed the DVD editions of several films by François Truffaut, Maurice Pialat, Alain Resnais, Michael Haneke, etc. He co-curated the «Renoir/Renoir» exhibition in 2005 at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris with Serge Lemoine.
