Rosa Cerarols

Geographer, writer and curator. She holds a PhD in Geography from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, a master’s degree in visual Anthropology from the University of Barcelona. She is a lecturer in the Department of Humanities at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), where she investigates in the Geohumanitates research group. She is also a member of the Council for the Protection of Nature and secretary of the Geographical Thinking Group of the AGE. Previously, at the UPF she was director of the Equality Unit and coordinator of the degree in Global Studies. Beyond the academic sphere, she is co-founder of the multidisciplinary space for cultural programming and artistic residencies Konvent, where she has curated various programs and exhibitions. She is also co-editor of L'altre món rural (Tigre de Paper, 2022).
