Robert Ketner

Virtual Community Manager of Tech Virtual, a project of the Tech Museum of San José, California, using online tools for the collaborative design, testing and development of prototypes of the museum’s contents. His experience includes product design, e-commerce and social media. He founded the SDForum Virtual World special interest group in Silicon Valley in 2006. He has given talks, presentations and seminars at many conferences on museology, at Stanford Research Institute, Silicon Valley Innovation Institute and NASA. Before joining Tech Museum, Ketner worked on projects for collaborative platforms and as a consultant on investment and start-ups. He has led virtual prototyping workshops at the world’s foremost museum conferences such as “Museums and the Web” and for conferences of the American Association of Museums.
