Robert Juan-Cantavella

Born in Almassora (Spain) in 1976, he was editor-in-chief of the culture magazine Lateral and currently publishes his literary reviews in the Tendències supplement of El Mundo. As well as his contributions to various anthologies and his many translations, he is the author of the novel Otro (Laia Libros, 2001), of the essay Joan Brossa i la quadratura del cercle (2003) and of the book of short stories Proust Fiction (Poliedro, 2005). He has also published two novels with Mondadori, El Dorado (2008) and Asesino Cósmico (2011), establishing him as a highly unique author on the Spanish scene.
