Ricardo Grassi

Ricardo Grassi, argentinian, journalist, writer and media manager. Has worked in Afghanistan since 2003, amongst other things organising and directing the country’s leading independent news agency, Pajhwok Afghan News. He is currently Director of Development at The Killid Group (TKG), an Afghan independent media group that operates 8 radio stations, 2 weekly magazines and a website, as well as managing 28 associated community radio stations. TKG is particularly interested in promoting the role of Afghan civil society and Afghan leadership of current processes. At international level, Ricardo Grassi, who has developed alliances with other media and research centres for TKG, is linked to the IPS-Inter Press Service agency, where he formerly held the post of editor-in-chief.
