Pilar Soldevila i García
Deputy managing director of the CCCB
Pilar Soldevila has been deputy managing director of the CCCB since January 2022. She has a PhD in Business Administration and Management (Pompeu Fabra University, 2000), a degree in Economic Sciences (Autonomous University of Barcelona, 1990) and a diploma in Economic and Business Sciences (University of Barcelona, 1987).
She was manager of the IDEC Foundation (UPF-Barcelona School of Management, September 2019-December 2021) and has held various positions of municipal direction and management at Barcelona City Council (2011-2019). She has also been the general director of the Balmes University Foundation and the manager of the University of Vic (2009-2011), director of the Business and Economics Department in the Faculty of Business and Communication at the University of Vic (2008-2009), assistant general manager at Lizarran Tabernas Selectas, SA (2001-2007), director of administration and finances at Serveis de l’Espectacle Focus, SA (1992-1997) and assistant auditor at Roca, Vilà i associats (1990-1991).
Soldevila is a member of the Board of Directors of the College of Economists of Catalonia (2021-present) and independent director of the Catalan Institute of Finance (2021-present), and has been a member of the Board of Trustees of L’Atlàntida Foundation in Vic (2009-2023) and of the Board of Directors of various municipal companies in Barcelona (2011-2015). In the field of teaching, she has been a collaborating lecturer at the Institute of Continuing Education of the UPF, lectured at Pompeu Fabra University (1993-2008), and taught on various bachelor, master’s and postgraduate degrees.
