Pep Aymerich

Pep Aymerich began his artistic journey in the 1980s at the Fita Art Studio in Girona and continued working as a self-taught artist, experimenting with various artistic disciplines including performance, video art, sculpture, public sculpture, installation, and more recently, set design. He is notably skilled in materials such as wood, wax, and stone. 

Since 1986, Aymerich has performed numerous actions and performances in cities like Girona, Barcelona, Madrid, as well as in France and London, and has participated in both solo and group exhibitions. Currently, he is developing projects such as El jo i l’altre and Cadira, where he merges art and craft, and El lloc? De ser nosaltres, a stage performance featuring articulated puppets modeled after him and his daughter Sira.
