Patxi Irurzun

Born in Pamplona in 1969, Patxi Irurzun is the author of two books of short stories, Ajuste de cuentos, Cuentos de color gris, Cuentos sanfermineros, El cangrejo valiente and La polla más grande del mundo, the novels Cuestión de supervivencia/La virgen puta, Ciudad Retrete and Odio enamorado, and the travel books En el desierto de la soledad (Chiapas) and Atrapados en el paraíso, about his trip to Payatas dumpsite (Manila) and to Papua New Guinea. His diary Dios nunca reza (Editorial Alberdania, 2011) is a tender but realistic first-person account of fatherhood, life and writing. His blog is Ajuste de cuentos.
