Patricia Tarín Carrasco

Postdoctoral researcher in the Climate and Health group of the Barcelona Global Health Institute (ISGlobal), she is a Doctor of Biodiversity and Environmental Management. Her research addresses the study of the effects of air pollution and climate change on human health, comparing present air quality scenarios with future scenarios affected by the action of climate change, and studying the impact of extreme events such as fires or heat waves on human health. She currently forms part of the ArcIce4MedCalRain project, which aims to reduce uncertainties in future projections of rainfall.
