Olga Jornet
Professor of narrative and short story writing
Jornet teaches of narrative techniques at the Escola d'Escriptura writing school at the Ateneu Barcelonès, where she gives classes in the short story programme, a course on young authors and single-author seminars on writers like Alice Munro, Raymond Carver, Carson McCullers and Katherine Mansfield, amongst others, as well as tutoring projects for novels and short story collections. She also teaches writing in the creative fiction programmes at Escola Bloom. She works for various publishing houses as a corrector, has been an editor at the journal of thought and literature Revista de Letras, and has taught cultural journalism in the Escrituras international graduate programme of the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales.
