Oksana Parafeniuk

Oksana Parafeniuk is a Ukrainian freelance photographer based in Kiev. Her main interest is the exploration of manifestations of resistance and human dignity among people facing hardship, both through documentary photography and new visual approaches. Oksana Parafeniuk regularly collaborates and publishes in national and international media such as The Washington Post, The New York Times, Time, Le Monde or Der Spiegel, and has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Ukraine, Germany, the Netherlands, France, the United States, etc. In 2021 she received a scholarship to participate in the documentary film program of the French National Film School, La Fémis, and between 2017 and 2018 she participated in the photography mentorship program for women Photograph Mentorship Program.
