Nuria Sara Miras Boronat

Professor of Political Philosophy at the Universitad de Barcelona. She has made research stays at the CSIC, the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, the Universität Leipzig, and at the Università degli Studi di Parma. She has worked on the relationship between politics, play, and subjectivity, contributing the Routledge edited volumes Philosophy of Play (2013), Philosophical Perspectives on Play (2015), and Philosophy of Play as Life (2017). She currently researches different instances of injustice, oppression, and social exclusion from a feminist and intersectional perspective. She has been co-director of the philosophy festival Barcelona Pensa (2016 – 2019), and coordinates the section Frontisteri of the journal Compàs d’Amalgama.
