Núria Nia

Trained in cinema, digital art and communication, and is a doctoral student in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona. She works mainly with the audiovisual medium in combination with other artistic forms such as transmedia environments, performance and installation, activating the possibilities of the mixture of various contexts and practices that nurture research on topics such as digital bodies, digital work, the screen image, the performed archive and collective thought. She has taken part as resident in expository or performative artistic projects at L’Escocesa, Hangar, Unzip, Konvent, Lo Pati, Fabra i Coats, Convent de Sant Agustí, El Bòlit, Santa Mònica, Cultural Rizoma, Festival Loop, Festival Panoràmic, Filmoteca de Catalunya, L’Estruch, Museu de Granollers and others. She combines her artistic practice with the audiovisual, the intersection between art and education, and teaching at different universities on Digital Art, Curating, Audiovisual and Transmedia.
