Neus Tomàs

Deputy director of diario.es.

Neus Tomàs (Lleida, 1973), deputy director of eldiario.es, has spent more than two decades working as a journalist specialising in political news. She began her career as an editor at the Spanish radio network Cadena Ser and, then, after heading the Catalan Government Spokesperson’s Office for three years, she joined the staff of the daily El Periódico de Catalunya where she has coordinated the Politics Section and was the first woman to be appointed as a deputy director. In addition to her work as a reporter and interviewer, she regularly contributes as an analyst in different branches of the media including Catalan television TV3, La Sexta (Spanish television), Catalunya Ràdio and Cadena Ser.
