Nathalie Karagiannis

A researcher at the Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt. She is working in the collective, interdisciplinary project “The Debt: Historicizing Europe’s Relations with the ‘South’” which analyses debt in European countries both in its economic and moral dimensions. She combines social research with literature and poetry and, in particular, European relations of solidarity. In keeping with the lines of her research, she has recently written the chapter “South as Exile” in the book The Moral Mappings of South and North (ed. Peter Wagner; Edinburgh University Press, 2017).
