Martín Leiton

Multi-instrumentalist and singer

Graduated in Jazz and Modern Music at the Conservatorio Superior del Liceu de Barcelona, Leiton is a multi-instrumentalist and singer. He has developed in different styles, from Latin American folklore to jazz, from Afro-American music to flamenco, and is currently a teacher at the Taller de Músics de Barcelona. He has released three albums as a leader: Medium (96k Music, 2011), Poetry of Sound (Underpool Records, 2015) and Inevitable (Blue Sounds, 2017), and is about to release his next EP of songs on the RASO label. He has played in some formations with Jeff Ballard, Dave Kikoski, Kenny Werner, Perico Sambeat, Albert Bover, Joan Pardo or Chano Domínguez, and has toured with Jorge Drexler, Nena Pastori, Juan Perro or Mala Rodríguez, among others.
