Marta Roma

Musician and educator

A musician and educator, she is forging her own artistic path, crossing stylistic and cultural frontiers with cello and voice. Trained in Catalonia and at the Berklee College of Music in the United States, she has worked with artists including Alejandro Sanz, Susana Baca, Rosana, Gary Burton, Dream Theater, Jarabe de Palo, and Silvia Pérez Cruz, and has travelled with her music around the world. In 2018, she presented her solo disc Per sempre (Forever) and is presently combining her busy concert agenda with educational projects. She is musical director of the Tutti Fan Pi concert in the Barcelona Auditorium, and teaches jazz cello at the Taller de Músics, as well as being Temps d’Art artist of the Barcelona City Council.
