She is one of the founders of Revista 5W, a publication specialising in narrative and photographic journalism and, in particular, long-distance chronicles. In her career as a journalist, her main concerns have been human rights, migratory movements, and women, always seen from a global perspective. Notable examples of her work are chronicles of women’s struggles for land in Latin America, the role of traditional midwives in Colombia, the struggle against child begging in Senegal, dispossession of the land of the Baka Pygmies in Cameroon, and forced displacement of the Wounaan-nonam indigenous community in Colombia. Her work has been published in Revista 5W, and media outlets like El País, El Mundo, Radio France International, De Correspondent and The Guardian.
