Maria Gorgues

Maria Gorgues has a long career linked to radio, starting in 1976 with the Ràdio 4 program Radioactivitat, a pioneering cultural space that discussed issues of feminism, ecology, pacifism and world music, among others. Later, together with Eduard Delgado, Jordi Roura and Josep M. Adell, created RAP (Radiofonistes1 Associats Produccions) to produce radio programs dedicated to cultural diffusion. In the early eighties she returned to Ràdio 4 with De bona lluna, a late-night program; and in 1984 she became the first presenter of TV3's Telenoticias together with Eric Calpena. Simultaneously to her activity in Televisió de Catalunya, she returns to the radio, but this time as director, presenter and scriptwriter of the current affairs magazine La sal de la vida, in Catalunya Ràdio. She directed the documentary Brava Victòria (2011), a film that illuminates some crucial moments in the personal and artistic history of Victòria dels Àngels. Two years later he will return to direct another documentary, Romea, 150 anys, a work that takes us into the history of the theater through images and testimonies, also portraying the link with the city of Barcelona and the Raval neighborhood.
