Maria Cardona

Maria Cardona was born in Menorca in 1986 and moved to Barcelona at the age of 18 years, to study translation and interpretation and linguistics applied to new technologies at the Pompeu Fabra University. She soon discovered that her vocation could become her profession and took a master’s degree in Publishing at the IDEC. Since then she has worked as an editor for several publishers of fiction such as Ara Llibres and of text books (Castellnou Edicions), she has produced translations, has formed part of the team of The London Book Fair and has worked for Guillermo Schavelzon & Asoc.  Literary Agency as an agent and head of marketing and communication.
