Marcel Beltrán

Filmmaker

Marcel Beltrán is a Cuban filmmaker who currently lives and works in São Paulo, Brazil. He studied cinematography at the International School of Film and TV in Cuba (EICTV) and Concordia University (Canada) and his films have screened internationally at festivals such as IDFA, Hot Docs, MoMA Doc Fortnight, DOC NYC, RIDM, FICG, Busan, DOK Leipzig and Malaga, among others. He’s the founder of Mediocielo Films, a lecturer at the EICTV and the Chavón School of Design, a consultant for projects in development internationally and facilitator for sustainability in the arts.
