J’Kerian Morgan is one of the most original creative geniuses of our time. Added to his brimming personality and on-stage attitude there is an alien musical discourse containing as much grime as deconstructed techno, angular IDM and R&B. This chaotic and sensitive sound is wrapped in an aura of mystery and uninhibited sexuality that is causing quite a stir in the stagnant world of club music. Here is an artista who quickly caught the attention of the prestigious American label Tri Angle. However, it is with Janus Berlin -an artistic collective and record label he shares with his colleague, M.E.S.H.- that he has published his best work, such as the recent “Agitations” (Janus Berlin, 2015). Even Björk has repeatedly praised the virtues of this unique artist who is redefining the experience of clubbing as we have known it so far. Lotic’s first appearance in Spain might not suit everybody’s tastes, but it won’t leave anyone feeling indifferent.
