Lisette Ma Neza
Poet and rhapsodist
Lisette Ma Neza (Rwanda) is the Slam Poetry champion of Belgium and European sub-champion of 2017. Her poems are based on her own experience as a young woman with Rwandan roots and Belgian nationality who does not understand frontiers. She converts tough issues such as child marriage, racism, genocide and sexual violence into poetry and appeals to the audience as she attempts to find solutions to the problems that she exposes.
