L’Automàtica

L’Automàtica is a collective of graphic designers and illustrators that recovered a Letterpress print shop in Barcelona and turned it into a self-managed cultural association. Together with the printer and ink setter as tutor and mentor, its members have converted a traditional business into an active space for dialogue, to hold workshops, print works and experience and learn the trade.

Its members believe in the transmission of knowledge, the regeneration of spaces, self-management, the need to slow the pace, to work from a local context and above all to join forces to defend the things that interest them.
