Laia Carbonell

Poet

She has studied music at the Terrassa Municipal Conservatory, Journalism, and Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and also has a master’s degree in Communication and Culture from the University of Seville. She has written the children’s story La granota blava (The Blue Frog) for the ASPASIM Foundation and has edited the self-publication of the jointly authored book A les vuit al Raval (At Eight in the Raval) which details the experience of the 15M protests in Terrassa. In 2013, she wrote about her experience in Finland, where she lived after completing her studies, in the form of poems accompanied by musical works of different times and genres, from Strauss to The Knife, from Monteverdi to Gardel, and from Edith Piaf to Joan Colomo.
