Kristina Petković

A Serbo-Dutch Barcelona-resident who is art historian, DJ, sound artist, and music researcher. Petkovic draws her sound lines from noise, ambient and micro-sound (among others), always within the music genres that seek to break with Western academic traditions, and giving special emphasis to extreme music – in both her artistic and research work.

Much of her art has been created under the alias Kristy Vicious, the name under which she has formed part of the Barcelona underground techno scene and has performed at festivals, parties, and renowned clubs like Primavera Sound’s Primavera Pro and the Artyphis Festival (Geneva). She is a resident DJ at the Moog techno club.
