Karl Ove Knausgård

Karl Ove Knausgård (Oslo, 1968) made his publishing debut in 1998 with Ute av verden (Out of the World), a novel highly acclaimed by critics and readers that earned him the Norwegian Critics Prize for Literature. This was the first time it had been awarded to an author’s debut novel. His second novel, En tid for alt (A Time for Everything), consolidated him as one of the most important voices in contemporary Scandinavian literature. In 2009 he undertook an incomparable literary project, My Struggle (in Norwegian, Min Kamp), his autobiographical work composed of six novels which has won him various international awards and has been translated in over fifteen countries. Anagrama has published the first five volumes translated into Spanish. The translation into Catalan is published by L’Altra Editorial. Karl Ove Knausgård lives in Sweden with his wife and their four children.
