Julio Otero Mancini
Filmmaker
He was born in Buenos Aires in 1946. Since the sixties, based on his research on sound at the Di Tella Institute in Buenos Aires, he undertook an intense task in audiovisual media, leading him to receive the First Prize in the Primer Concurso de Cine Experimental at the Goethe Institute of Buenos Aires, among other international awards. He experimented with installations from multiple projectors and produced film-dance works with the dancer Iris Scaccheri. He passed away in 2017.
