Juanjo Arranz

With a degree in Philosophy and Education Sciences from the Faculty of Education at the University of Barcelona, he also has a Certificate of Research Proficiency from the PhD course in Social Education and Political Science.

He has worked as a social educator at the Personal Services Centre of the Carmel neighbourhood and as director of the Can Felipa and El Carmel civic centres of the Barcelona City Council, after which he was a specialist management and planning adviser to the San Martí District (Barcelona).

He is presently programmes director of the Barcelona Library Consortium and is responsible for planning, managing and directing the cultural diffusion, reading and educational programmes of the public library network of the City of Barcelona.
