He currently works as Project Manager at Ecoserveis and as Energy Professor at the UAB. Has been working on the development and application of renewable energies since 1981, both at university, business and local politics level, where he was the sustainable city councilman at Barcelona’s city council between 1995 and 1999, where he boosted the adoption of the Solar Ordinance for buildings, which is nowadays compulsory by the Spanish state. He is an engineer on energy techniques and qualified as a Doctor, and has a Master on environmental engineering. He has published many books and articles on energy and environmental subjects. He is the deputy chairman of Eurosolar – The European Association for Renewable Energy and is currently leading the project “Viure de l’aire del cel” (“Living on Fresh Air”).
