Jorge Honik

Filmmaker

He was born in Buenos Aires in 1940. From an early age he devoted himself to literature, alternating between narrative and dramaturgy. After finishing his university studies in pharmaceuticals, he traveled the world for ten years. This experience influenced an important part of his visual and literary works, which is evident in his films in Super 8 made with Laura Abel. After returning to Argentina, he settled in Patagonia. Since then, he has taught exact arts and sciences, and continues to promote projects related to film, literature, theater and music.
