Jordi Armadans

A political scientist and journalist, Jordi Armadans Gil is an analyst and trainer in the area of conflicts, peace, and security. He was director of the Barcelona-based Fundació per la Pau (Peace Foundation) and has been associated with NGOs, campaigns, and social movements working for a culture of peace, human rights, solidarity, and global justice. Representing civil society, he has participated in several UN diplomatic processes on disarmament and arms control. His articles are published in several media outlets, including Ara, El Periódico, Eldiario.es, Sentit Crític, and Papeles de relaciones ecosociales y cambio global, and he is also author of Pau. El valor de la vida als nostres dies (Peace: The Value of Life in Our Times, Ara Llibres, 2022).
