John-Paul Stonard
John-Paul Stonard completed his PhD at the Courtauld Institute of Art, and is a London-based writer and art historian, and a member of the consultative committee of The Burlington Magazine. His books include Fault Lines. Art in Germany 1945-55 (2007), The Books that Shaped Art History (2013); and Germany Divided. Baselitz and his Generation (2014). He was the co-curator of Kenneth Clark: Looking for Civilisation (Tate Britain, 2014) and of Melancholia – a Sebald variation (King’s College, 2017).
