Jaenabou Dembaga

Jaenabou Dembaga is an African-Catalan sociologist of Gambian descent. She is a guest editor for the magazine Contextos, a member of the group Umbrales Umma and Diabi ji soninké, and consultant to Barcelona Acció Intercultural and the Pere Tarrés Foundation. She works for social causes in the areas of racism, Islamophobia, Feminism, and everything related with Afrodescendant and Black African Communities in Catalonia, especially spiritual matters and gender aspects.
