Irma Marco

Artist, researcher and teacher. She works from a site-specific perspective with formats such as installation, text, sound and editorial publication. She is interested in collaboration, appropriation and exchange as strategies to create spaces for debate. She is currently investigating the possibilities of art to activate citizen dialogues about the transformation of the everyday into digital life. She has exhibited and participated at international arts centres and festivals. She has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Fine Arts, and is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Barcelona. She also teaches at universities (UOC, UB, Elisava, Escola Massana).
