Harry Gruyaert

Born in 1941 in Antwerp. He lives and works in Paris.

Belgium, Morocco, India, Egypt: for more than 20 years Harry Gruyaert has been exploring the subtle chromatic variations of light in East and West. This veteran of long-term projects free of all commercial pressures brings his work to the public via meticulously designed exhibitions and books. Among his major publications are Lumières Blanches (1986), Morocco (1990), Made in Belgium (2000) and Rivages (2004).

Harry Gruyaert became a Member of Magnum Photos in 1986.
